I told you I would talk about Depersonalization and Derealization and I intend to do so. Other places link here but literally who cares. Both may be constant, come in phases, or have triggers and last a 'short' time. Usually one or, usually not always, but it can be both and constant.
The self is not experienced as real. Memories about the self cannot be accessed. The internal world is unable to be accessed.
The environment around your body is not expereinced as real. It can be difficult to access perception. You may experience a bird's eye view. You may feel as though you are not touching anything such as the ground underneath your feet. Memories of the world cannot be accessed. You may not know how you are interacting but still be acting.
