Identity is not separate from the rest of a person's life. Culture, sexuality, gender, race, community, family history, and experiences with institutions all shape how someone understands themselves and how others respond to them.
Mental health systems have historically operated as tools of social control utilizing diagnostic labels to enforce compliance, pathologize rebellion, and preserve institutional power. In this practice, I explicitly reject the Eurocentric, paternalistic impulse to treat human distress as an individual defect or a failure to adapt to an oppressive environment.
I offer a grounded, anti-authoritarian space for individuals and families navigating Immigration & Cross-Cultural Experiences, where the disorientation of displacement, structural exclusion, and living between cultural worlds are understood as systemic realities rather than personal pathology. Working alongside Indigenous Folx and communities carrying generations of institutional harm, I honor relational ways of knowing, personal sovereignty, and community care; creating room to process historical rupture without forcing your lived truth into a clinical box.
Our internal worlds, desires, and capacities cannot be separated from the socio-political structures that attempt to govern our bodies. I provide a confidential, non-judgmental container to explore Sex & Sexuality, offering a space to unpack bodily autonomy, unlearn compulsory scripts, and challenge the ways authority figures or cultural norms have dictated your boundaries. For those living within the LGBTQ+ / Queer Experience, I offer a sanctuary from the relentless surveillance, heteronormative pressure, and pathologization that society inflicts on non-conforming lives. Whether you are exploring gender embodiment, unlearning internalized shame, navigating Sex Work, or deconstructing social conditioning around Men and Women, our work is not about helping you comply with an unjust system, but about helping you trust your own senses, claim your own authority, and build a life on your own terms.
Navigating a world that demands forced independence while denying basic access generates an exhausting, cumulative strain on the nervous system. In our work, we name the real, everyday Lived Experiences & Systemic Realities that come from fighting hostile institutions, including Anxiety, systemic burnout, and the weight of Depression when environments refuse to adapt. We hold steady space for the grief of lost safety, medical trauma, and the hyper-vigilance that leads to PTSD. When the cumulative weight of isolation and institutional coercion becomes unbearable, I offer support surrounding community-focused Suicide Postvention for households and groups carrying the devastating aftermath of loss.
To back up this relational work with concrete support, I integrate non-dominating frameworks from Person-Centered & Existential therapy to explore meaning and autonomy, body-centered regulation from somatic approaches, and systemic critique from Relational & Systems Models. By keeping human dignity, mutual care, and practical advocacy at the center, I help you build a life sustained by authentic connection, self-determination, and uncompromising access.
