Interpersonal friction and relational breakdown do not happen in a vacuum. Standard clinical models often treat conflict as a personal defect in one or both partners, focusing on forced compliance, superficial communication scripts, or restoring conventional harmony at the expense of authentic needs.
In my practice, conflict is understood as a real nervous system reaction within an unyielding or shifting system. When stress, trauma, neurodivergence, or unaddressed boundaries collide, your body responds by defending itself. We do not focus on placing blame or enforcing artificial compromise. We work to interrupt reactive survival cycles, build authentic co-regulation, and create room to speak truth without fear of retaliation or abandonment.
Whether you are navigating high-conflict household transitions, severe communication disruption, or relational rupture, the goal is not to police your emotions or force you into a normative mold. It is to foster safety, autonomy, and genuine connection on your terms.
69% of disputes in a relationship are not resolvable. That is what makes them fun. Choice and knowing you are accepted.
