Schools

There are two specialties in social work recognized by the state that require specialized education and practicum experience. One of those is schools. I do not have a lot to say to the average person about my work with schools beyond that you have a child and your child has a right to an education. Social workers have a duty to society and part of that duty is to the advancement of betterment of generations after us. I am here to help your kid get the most out of their education. 

To other providers or those who work within schools, name what I cannot do. Good luck. The only role within a school I am not qualified for is law enforcement because that is a role conflict. 

I work with preschool through collegiate. The only pages that really link through here are Neurodivergence, Disability, Identity, Culture & Community and Accommodations & Inaccessible Systems. 

I guess I should mention on this page directly I will do pro bono, my intake paperwork is done in house and its just straight compliance, and I can get kids on my schedule same day if needed. I do not bill for out of session advocacy work like case management, 504s, IEPs, and so on. I won't even ask. It is my literal job to make other providers able to provide through the documentation and case management I provide.
